THE LOCAL GOVERNING BODY
Following a period with an Interim Executive Board, we are currently recruiting a new Local Governing Body.
Mr Ron Harris - Chair of Governors (Community Governor)
Ron Harris has been a school governor for over 20 years. He has been a Local Authority and a Community governor at a Warwickshire Church of England school and until recently had been the chair. He was actively involved in successfully moving the school to academy status as part of the Coventry Diocese Multi-Academy Trust. He is retired but spent most of his career working for Royal Mail in senior management positions. He is an exam invigilator at local secondary schools. He supports Worcester Warriors Rugby Club and Warwickshire Cricket Club.
Mrs Paula B Dhugga - Head of School (Staff Governor)
Paula is the Head of School and, as such, she has the role of staff governor (ex-officio). As a practising Christian with two children of her own in full-time education, she feels hugely committed to the future well-being and success of all the children at this school. Her knowledge, skills and experience to date are a culmination of having held managerial and leadership positions across various sectors including Business and Finance. Prior to the last ten years in Education, Paula was an Assistant Director at Ernst & Young and a Corporate Management Accountant at PowerGen (now E.ON). As well as a degree in Maths and Education, she also has an MBA from Warwick University.
The Local Governing Body meets at least once a term.
