Mr Ron Harris - Chair of Governors (Community Governor)
Ron Harris has been a school governor for over 20 years. He has been a Local Authority and a Community governor at a Warwickshire Church of England school and until recently had been the chair. He was actively involved in successfully moving the school to academy status as part of the Coventry Diocese Multi-Academy Trust. He is retired but spent most of his career working for Royal Mail in senior management positions. He is an exam invigilator at local secondary schools. He supports Worcester Warriors Rugby Club and Warwickshire Cricket Club.
Mrs Paula B Dhugga - Head of School (Staff Governor)
Paula is the Head of School and, as such, she has the role of staff governor (ex-officio). As a practising Christian with two children of her own in full-time education, she feels hugely committed to the future well-being and success of all the children at this school. Her knowledge, skills and experience to date are a culmination of having held managerial and leadership positions across various sectors including Business and Finance. Prior to the last ten years in Education, Paula was an Assistant Director at Ernst & Young and a Corporate Management Accountant at PowerGen (now E.ON). As well as a degree in Maths and Education, she also has an MBA from Warwick University.
Mrs Katie Kavanagh - BSc (Hons), PGCE (Foundation Governor)
Katie qualified as a teacher in 2005 and since then has worked in a variety of Church of England schools leading assessment. In 2014 she took a career break to raise her two children and when not enjoying family time together she can be found in her creative studio, gardening, walking her two dogs or flitting in and out of school. She is passionate about supporting and giving back to the community and as such is also a governor of The Perkins Educational Foundation that helps local schools, groups and young people under the age of 25 with grants.
Mr Christopher Rowling - Parent Governor
I joined the new Local Governing Body for the school after the transition to Salford Priors C of E Academy. I have two children at the academy and as such have a vested interest to see the academy improve and do well. I am keen to see the academy develop, improve and succeed - giving a good education to all pupils. My background is in Health & Safety, Fire Safety and Training in a commercial setting. I work for a family company locally and an looking to help and support the academy through the role as governor.
Mrs Hannah O'Sullivan - Staff Governor
The Local Governing Body meets at least once a term.
